The Convertible Has Arrived
The 2021 Corvette offers a retractable hardtop. It adds just 35 kg (77 pounds) to the weight of the vehicle and flows seamlessly into the body while maintaining Stingray's impressive storage capabilities. Available in body-colour or Carbon Flash, the hardtop can activate at speeds up to 48 km/h (30 mph). Whether you're on the road with top down or on the track with the top up, performance stays high with the most track-capable Corvette convertible in history.

Stingray by the numbers
The LT2 V8 engine in the 2021 Corvette delivers up to an available 495 horsepower and available 470 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful production Stingray ever and giving it a top speed on a race track of 312 km/h (194 mph). when properly equipped, the 2021 Corvette can reach speeds of up to 96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.9 seconds and has a quarter mile time of 11.2 seconds.
Electronic - Limited Slip Differential (eLSD)

E-LSD improves both traction on lower traction surfaces and improves handling stability on higher traction surfaces. It does so by continuously monitoring input from the vehicle and seamlessly sending optimal torque to each wheel.

  • Launching from stop in slippery conditions, the eLSD clutch will immediately transfer power to high traction tire, but can be ramped down to make sure the rear does not become unstable
  • Driving straight, the eLSD system engages slightly, to add stability and on center steering feel, plus eliminate engagement noise
  • In an emergency double lane change, it reduces sway by dampening to rear end motion
  • When towing, eLSD clutch can cancel out the pushing force of the heavy trailer
